Nordfab exhibited at IMTS September 14–19 in Chicago, with products for the dust, mist, and sparks that manufacturing processes can generate.
Our display included QFS sealed ducting, the Oil Mist Recycler, and SparkTrap 2.0—giving visitors a closer look at options for different parts of a process ventilation system.
QFS sealed ducting combines the modular construction of Quick-Fit® with added sealing features for applications involving oil mist, coolant mist, and cutting fluid mist. Its clamp-together connections allow access for cleaning, maintenance, and layout changes.
The Oil Mist Recycler serves as a pre-filter near the pickup point. An impingement baffle separates oil droplets from the airstream so collected liquid can drain to a sump, helping reduce the load on downstream filtration.
SparkTrap 2.0 rounded out the display, highlighting another application to consider when planning ductwork for manufacturing processes.
