QF In-Line Spark Trap
QF In-Line Spark Trap
Spark Trap provides simple and economical spark mitigation in process ventilation ductwork. Ø100 - 710 mm, galvanised steel or 304SS.
Reduces Fire Risk Minimizes the chance of sparks reaching cyclones or collectors, helping prevent fires.
Passive Safety Solution Operates without power or moving parts—simple, reliable, and maintenance-free.
Disrupts Airflow to Extinguish Sparks Uses airflow disruption to cool and extinguish sparks before they travel downstream.
Durable Construction Options Available in galvanized steel and 304SS for long-lasting performance in demanding environments.
Compatible with Quick-Fit System Easily integrates into Nordfab’s modular ducting for fast installation and system flexibility.
Installed in ducting as part of a dust collection system, the Nordfab Inline Spark Trap greatly reduces the possibility of fire in cyclones / collectors by decreasing the number of sparks which could reach the cyclone or collector through the ductwork. The spark trap's effectiveness is based on a simple principle, disrupting the laminar airflow to caouse sparks to cool and extinguish before they can enter a cyclone or collector. There are no moving parts and no power is required for operations. Available in galvanised steel and 304SS construction, ranging from 100 mm to 710 mm in diameter.
The world's fastest ducting
For most dust and fume collection requirements and applications, Nordfab Quick-Fit modular clip-together ducting is a crucial component of dust collection, fume extraction, and process ventilation systems. It has the capability to significantly reduce installation time by up to 50%, resulting in cost savings and reduced downtime.
Easy to install
Quick-Fit is easy and quick to install, designed for effortless cleaning, and can be reused when adjusting facility layouts, providing one of the lowest life-cycle costs of any ducting product. The Quick-Fit rolled edges allow quick and easy connections with the QF Clip when installing, extending, or taking apart runs of duct.
