Nordfab Quick-Fit Sealed (QFS) dampers, manual or automatic, allow regulation of the volume of airflow through a section of ductwork. They are designed for machining and any other operations which create oil mists, as they significantly reduce risks of leakage from ducting. QFS features laser welded and caulked duct (solid seams eliminate leakage) and double sealing at duct connections. All joints are epoxy caulked and when clipping the ductwork together, an additional nitrile gasket is placed between the parts to avoid leakage.
