Nordfab LLC (“Nordfab,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy.  This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing information that we may collect from you or that you may provide to us (i) through our website at www.norfab.com and any successor URL or subdomain thereof (collectively, our “Website”); (ii) in electronic messages exchanged with us;  (iii) when you sign up for Nordfab’s e-mailing lists or Nordfab newsletters;  or iv) when you use/access our licensed online sales and design services, software, or associated mobile applications (collectively, “Nordfab Services”). This Policy does not apply to any other information we collect by any other means.

What information do we collect from you?

The information we collect may include information by which users may be personally identified or information about a user that is maintained in personally-identifiable form (collectively “Personal Information”). Personal Information may include the following:

  • If you (or a company you represent) has, has had, or may have a business relationship with Nordfab:  your name, business e-mail address, business phone number, business address, job title, company/business name,  submitted to us when you sign up for Nordfab’s e-mailing lists, newsletters, or register for Nordfab Services;
  • Your name, and personal e-mail address, physical address, and phone number, other than as stated  above;
  • The content of your electronic messages to us and other information you provide in your electronic messages to us;  
  • Browser language, browser type, geographical location, IP addresses, user IDs, and activities on the Website, as further described below.  

We will not request, nor should you submit through the Website or Nordfab Services, any sensitive information such as credit card or bank account information or driver’s license or other government-issued identification information. The Website is not intended for children under 16 years of age, and no one under the age of 16 may provide any information to us or others on or using our Website. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of 16.

Why do we collect Personal Information and how do we use it?

We collect, store and use Personal Information when you or the company you represent, use or buy our products or services, as necessary to deliver, improve, or customize the products or services you may buy, to provide the Nordfab Services, to provide support and customer service for our products and services and the Nordfab Services, and for internal administrative purposes such as accounting and auditing. We may use the Personal Information to send you operational information about our products and services, for contractual and financial reasons relating to your business relationship with Nordfab, and to fulfill our legal obligations.

We also collect, store and use Personal Information for marketing purposes. We may use your Personal Information to market our products and services, provide you with information about new products and services, answer questions and requests, and to send you newsletters and invitations to our events.

How long do we keep hold of your information? 

We retain Personal Information only for as long as reasonably necessary to achieve the purposes defined in this Policy, unless a longer or different retention period is required or permitted by applicable law.

Whom might we share your information with? 

If you or the company you represent has, has had, or may have a business relationship with Nordfab, we may share your Personal Information with that company, and with business partners representing Nordfab in order to provide the service and products you require. Your Personal Information will also be shared with third-party service providers contracted by Nordfab to support its products and services and to perform business functions on Nordfab’s behalf, such as software service providers for storing data. Nordfab does not sell or share Personal Information with third-party service providers for their use in their own direct marketing activities. We may share anonymous usage data relating to the Website and Nordfab Services that has been de-identified, anonymized or aggregated in a way such that it cannot be used to specifically identify any particular Personal Information or identify any particular individual, with third-party service providers for analytical and statistical purposes aimed at improving Nordfab’s products and services and the Nordfab Services.

Does Nordfab use cookies?

Yes, we use cookies to compile aggregate data about Website traffic and Website interaction so that we can offer better Website experiences and tools in the future.

Nordfab manages the Website and provides its products and services and the Nordfab Services from the United States. It is possible that certain information will be stored on servers in multiple other countries on the “cloud” or other similar distributed hosting platforms.
